(St. Augustine Beach, Fla.) – ArtBreakers announces the 11th annual Bratini will be held at the Guy Harvey Resort (860 A1a Beach Blvd.) on Friday October 18, 2019. Cocktails, live music, appetizers and silent auction begin at 6:00 pm; the live bra auction fashion show begins at 7:00 pm and will be followed by a deejay-led after-party.

This year ArtBreakers is giving a nod to its roots of selling art to raise money for cancer patient care. More art will be featured in the silent auction, well-known local artists are being recruited to fashion one-of-a-kind art bra creations, and organizers hope to spotlight an artist painting a piece live on-site.

New this year will be a People’s Choice Award for the art bra that receives the most votes, and a Memory “Board” clothesline on which attendees will be able to hang personal “in honor of” or “in memory of” messages on paper bras.

“This is a really fun evening in a beautiful setting, and all the money raised goes directly to cancer patients,” explains ArtBreakers President and cancer survivor Gaye Jones.

“We know that when people are battling cancer—any kind of cancer—it can be impossible to keep working, but the bills don’t stop coming. ArtBreakers volunteers put on an amazing event that’s part ‘fashion’ show, part live auction—it’s quite a spectacle!! And then we use the proceeds throughout the year to help ease the financial strain of being sick.”

Tickets are $55 each or 2 for $95, and are available now at Eventbrite — https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bratini-2019-tickets-62878904496?aff=ebdshpsearchautocomplete.
