by: Bill Jones ~ St. Augustine Beach Civic Association

Ed Pritchett, a resident of Sea Grove has graciously accepted an appointment to The St Augustine Beach Civic Association. Former Vice President Mark Lilly has new work obligations which cut into his availability. Mr. Lilly is still working with the Board and will move into one of our Trustee positions.

Mr. Pritchett and his wife have been volunteers with us for several years. Their favorite event has always been the Taste of the Beach. Ed will be one of the co-chairs of that event. Thank you and congratulations Ed!

Annual Fund at 15% of goal

After the County chose to take the Farmers Market we built and ran for almost 18 years,

The Civic Association established an Annual Fund to help pay for the Arts & Entertainment side of its events.

In order to continue to produce events like Music by the Sea, Taste of the Beach and Surf Illumination, we need to raise at least $10,000 annually to cover the cost of bands and artists. In just a few weeks of concerts we;ve already raised nearly $1500. If you’d like to give, please attend one of our concerts or donate online at
