Learn To Read is excited to present a Book Fair taking place at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, December 1, from 11:00-4:00 and featuring:

Lego building Competition from 11am-4pm with prizes awarded at 4:00pm for ages 5 – 8 , 9 – 12 and 13 – 16.

 

5 Local authors will be on hand from 11am-4pm for book signings: 

  • Paintbrushes and Arrows: A Story of St. Augustine by M.C. Finott
  • Back Country Lawman and Bad Guys, Bullets and Boat
  • by former Florida Game Warden Bob H. Le
  • Stroke Diaries – Vols. I, II and III by Tom Broussard, Ph
  • Mumford the Manatee by Dee Mountcastl
  • My Real Name Is Hanna by Tara Lynn Masih

This event is free and open to the public. A percentage of all Barnes & Noble book and café sales at the store the day of the event will be donated to Learn to Read – as will online sales through December 6. Participants must use the B&N Voucher # 12413902 at purchase to ensure credit to Learn To Read.

Learn to Read has recently expanded its services to help people learn English as a second language (ESOL) through personal tutoring and group conversation courses.
